“The dock again?” Jason asked. He was kneeling on my other side.
“Yeah.” No need to go into details.
“Sorry, Will. Vicodin always gives me bad dreams too.” Spence stood uncertainly a few feet away.
“It’s okay. Can somebody help me up?” I ignored any thoughts of dignity as Cole and Jason carefully helped me push back from the couch so I could get my feet under me as they lifted me up with their arms around my waist. The pain was much more bearable now at least.
Jason asked, “Why don’t we all turn in?” I agreed, even though I wasn’t sure I’d be able to go back to sleep.
Spence showed us to a guest room. It was fairly spartan, with just a nightstand, a lamp and a king-size bed covered in an old patchwork quilt. The bathroom was across the hall and we all took turns getting ready. Someone had brought in our luggage while I’d napped, but none of us put on any pajamas.
I was standing next to the bed staring into space when Cole rubbed my bicep. “Hey,” he said. “Let’s get you into bed.”
“Sorry.” I shook my head to clear it. “That Vicodin is pretty strong. Uh, I need to do some stretches before I lie down.”
Cole immediately raised his fists in the air. “That sounds awesome! I’ll watch!” He jumped backwards to land on the bed, then he pulled off his boxers and tossed them to the floor. He grabbed his cock and announced, “Ready!”
I laughed and shook my head at him. I started to lean to the side but then I caught a glimpse of Cole out of the corner of my eye. He was giving me an exaggerated leer while running his fist over his cock.
“Stop! I can’t stretch with a stiffy!”
“What’s this now?” Jason came in from the hallway, quickly shutting the door behind him once he saw our state of undress.
“Will is stretching and I’m watching,” Cole informed him solemnly. The effect was destroyed by his spreading his legs wider so he could fondle his balls.
“That sounds great. I’m in.” Jason tossed his clothes onto his duffel bag, yanked off his underwear and hopped onto the bed next to Cole. He mirrored Cole’s position and began stroking himself. “Go ahead, Will. We’re waiting.”
“Fuck.” I eyed them irritably. If I stretched it would really help my back tomorrow. But damn, I wanted to be over there on the bed with them. Still, it wouldn’t hurt to give them what they were asking for.
I gave an exaggerated sigh and put my right arm up as high as I could (not very) and leaned to the left. Cole and Jason made sounds of appreciation that made me roll my eyes. I did the same stretch to the right, then I turned to give them my backside, stumbling partially from the drug’s effect and partially because I had put my back to them without first worrying what they would think about my scars. Crap, I trusted them. Did I love them? Not yet, maybe, but I was falling for sure.
“Will?” I started, turning to find Jason at my elbow. I’d been staring into space. “Hey, I think that Vicodin is making stretching a little challenging right now. Why don’t you come to bed and lie down?”
“If I go to bed without stretching I’ll never make it all day in the car tomorrow.”
“That’s not going to be an issue. We’re going to stay here for a couple of days and rest. We need to work on The Big Plan and we’ll have to get Brian to help us get some things set up in Austin before we reappear there.”
I closed my eyes in relief. “The Big Plan. Right. I could use a day to rest.”
“I bet.” He put his arm around me and steered me to the bed.
“I didn’t mean to interrupt your and Cole’s sexy times.” Jason wasn’t hard anymore.
Jason snorted a laugh. “There will be plenty of time for that in the future.” Cole pulled back the quilt and got between the sheets. He held the top sheet up so I could slide in.
“I just wish I knew if I could be there too,” I muttered as Jason crawled in behind me. Both of them froze.
“What do you mean, Will? Why wouldn’t you be there too?”
I put my hands over my face. “I didn’t mean to say that out loud,” I mumbled.
Jason and Cole’s arms closed around me. “Are you nervous about the shooter?” Jason asked.
I shook my head, hands still covering my face.
“Are you uncertain about our relationship? Being with us?”
I nodded.
