“What’s this?” I ask.

“Present,” he smirks

Shaking my head, I open the bag and pull out the green leather shoulder bag, I was looking at. I stroke the soft leather and slowly raise my head to look at him.

“Thank you,” I say in a soft voice.

“Welcome Angel.”

Archer has always been like a brother to me. He’s my brother’s best friend, and they have been close since school. He has always treated me more like his little sister. We carry on walking through the stalls and I catch sight of the most beautiful man I have ever seen. He makes me stop dead in my tracks. His dark hair is cut close to his head and his sunglasses sit perfectly on his face. He has this aura around him that shows he’s a badass without actually doing anything.

I can’t stop staring at him and it’s as if he feels me staring, that he starts to look my way. I quickly get a hold of myself and turn away, hurrying to catch up with dad and Archer. As we continue to walk through the stalls, we stop to get food, because this bunch never stops eating, I keep catching a glimpse of him. It’s like I’m drawn to him which is strange. I’ve never felt drawn to anyone before, never mind someone I’ve not spoken to or seen up close.

Shaking my head, I try to get rid of the thoughts I’m having about a total stranger.

What the hell is wrong with me?

I focus on the rest of the stalls, even though I keep catching little bits of the man, but I never come face to face with him.

Pushingthe redhead out my mind, for now, we spend the rest of the evening relaxing at the camp and getting ready for our meeting with Tribal Bones MC. I am not looking forward to the meeting. Don’t get me wrong; I like Judge and have respect for him as a friend of my dad’s but something is very wrong within his MC right now. My gut is screaming at me to be careful. It’s never led me wrong yet, so I’m going to pay attention.

“Are you ready for the meeting?” Mayhem asks from beside me.

“Yeah, need to be our game,” I warn him.

“Your gut talking to you again?” he smirks.

“Fucker. Yeah, it is, so be on the lookout.”

I watch the brothers mess around and relax. The prospects built a fire in the middle of the tents, which is currently blazing away. Drinks around being passed around, followed by the odd joint or two. The air is filled with the scent of burning wood and weed. I relax back in my chair and take a swig of my beer. Sitting here with my brothers makes me feel humble. I honestly feel honoured to call these idiots my family, and we are a family.

Regardless of what people may think of us, loyalty is everything. I’ve known some of my brothers since school, growing up with Mayhem and Psycho, we have a bond forged in history. We met Riot in our teens, and he fits perfectly into our little group. The four of us are close, I would do anything for them, and they would do the same for me. That includes their families.

Mayhem’s son Logan and his folks mean the world to me. I love being Logan’s uncle and spoiling him every chance I get. He’s only four right now but I’m already planning a Prospect in training cut for his fifth birthday. Plus, we need to get that kid on a bike. He’s the future of this club.

“Twist is in place,” Psycho says as he drops down in the chair on the other side of Mayhem and me.

“Good. How are you feeling about the meet?” Mayhem asks him.

“Something’s not right,” Psycho replies.

“Yeah, Prez’s gut is going off too,” Mayhem replies.

“Should always listen to his gut.”

“Oi you fuckers, I’m sat here,” I growl, getting sick of them talking over me like I’m not fucking sat here. The pair of them just laugh.

“We ready?” Riot asks joining us.

“Let’s get this over with,” I say, standing from my seat.

Psycho and Mayhem join me as we all start heading for the meeting point that was previously arranged. As we get closer, Psycho fades into the shadows, while Mayhem and Riot flank me at either side. I spot Judge, his Wanker of a VP Dyno, and Archer, his Sergeant At Arms waiting for us.

“Judge,” I greet him, shaking his hand.
