I can’t fix it.

It’s destroying me seeing her like this, but I’m here to stay until she feels comfortable enough and heals.

She’s willing, but at the same time, her limitations pressure her to recoil. The terror her mind is feeding her is nothing but false promises. A fiction it created to withdraw her progress.

“Something that is supposed to come easy, I-I can’t do it. Something n-natural. S-something trivial. I keep failing.” Her sobs rupture my soul.

“Hey, you didn’t fail. I’m proud of you for listening to your body. For acknowledging when I know what is right for you and accepting that. I’m here to protect you as well as help you get better.” I kiss her chin, collecting droplets of her tears as I massage her temples. “Today this is your limit, maybe tomorrow your limit is going to change.”

I sprinkle soft kisses on her nose, cheeks, forehead, and lips.

She’s relaxing, and her eyes clench shut.

“I want to learn you. Learn with you. And learn from you.” More kisses follow, assuming the act is putting her to sleep. “You’re going to be alright. I’m here. Whatever you need, I’m here.”

She makes sexy muffled noises before she rubs her eye and falls asleep between my hands.

“I’m here.”

I stay in my current position, feeling her vulnerable naked body underneath me as I comfort her.

It’s the best feeling in the world.

Her tiny face is between my palms, leaning toward one side. Her shallow breathing hits my face while my eyes record her features for long moments without moving. And then, I glide to the side of the mattress next to her and nestle her to me.

Frankie

Valentine’s Day.

Mylockscreenclockjust turned midnight and technically it’s already Valentine’s Day.

Theo: Are you awake?

His text bubble shows up.

Frankie: Yup!

Theo: Can I come?

Frankie: Can you use your key? I’m snuggling in bed.

Theo: Sure!

We are on a break this week, no orgasms, just a lot of foreplay. And Theo tortures me with how well he crafted what intense foreplay has done to me for the past two months.

After his friend’s party, I needed to step back and ease myself into it gradually because I started panicking a lot more frequently.

As always, Theo held me and made me feel like the most precious thing in the whole world.

A darkened shadow travels toward my room, Theo’s broad posture is standing in the doorframe, staring at me with a crooked smile.

“You have school in a few hours, what are you doing here?” I ask softly.

“I couldn’t sleep,” he scratches his forehead, then his scalp, “I wanted to sleep with you.”

My stupid smile widens in seconds, and I lift my sheets to signal him that he can come to my bed.

His happy face beams as he slides in, grabbing my hips, placing me on top of him, and resting my head on his chest.
