“Run, petal, run.” His lips hover above mine, “That’s what you want, don’t you?”

A jolt of excitement bursts within me.

Wetting my rosy lipstick, I take a note of where we are, seeing the lit casino sign behind him.

I wriggle out of his hold and walk past him but he catches my wrist before I have a chance to escape.

“Tell me,” he asks, “All fair in love and war?”

Cold air filters inside my gaped lips and I inhale it all. “True.”

“You have five minutes head-start before I’m coming to get you.” Releasing my hand, he gazes at me with a wicked sexy smirk.

One I have never seen before.

I take a deep breath and memorize that he wears black jeans and a matching coat, paired with white sneakers.

I look at his face one more time, feeling giddy when he winks at me, and then I flee the scene.

My boots sprint across planks, and the central pier arcade is at my rear as I continue forward, pushing my way through the crowd.

After several miles, I take the right leading to a casino. The evening hours attract countless people and the darkened areas will make it easier to go unnoticed.

The excitement of knowing he is after me and I can sense the danger of someone watching me sends me into a frenzy which I try to obtain.

Pulling my black hoodie, I rotate my head sideways, searching for any signs of Theo.

But I don’t see him.

The dim lights surround me on Arkansas Ave as I close in the distance between me and theCaesars Hotelnearby.

Knowing miles are separating us, I fill my lungs with oxygen after running for the past fifteen minutes.

I stare at the dangling key chain I stole from his pants when he got closer to me. I’ve been told a sleight of hand might help me one day and I guess today is that day.

I’m ready to be punished.

I make it to Pacific Ave and turn right again, going back to where we parked our transportation not far off.

Each pacing intensifies my nerves.

I pierce through the eyes of each bystander trying to catch his familiar whiskey-colored eyes. From one streetlamp to the other, my eyes scan every silhouette.

The skies are painted indigo.

I tilt my gaze to my boots as I continue striding across the sidewalk. This area is slightly quieter than a mile back.

The anticipation is maddening while I play with my rings.

The rustle of the wind against my coat brings a wave of goosebumps all over my flesh.

I shiver and still charge forward and stride faster.

Right as I look behind me, a familiar voice drifts to my ears. “You got nowhere to go.”

I turn my head and bump into his firm chest and he wraps his arms around me.

“I want to slide you up and down my cock.” He whispers into my ear.
