“Definitely one of the things I was thinking, but not quite sufficient. How have I never seen you in a suit like this before?”
“You never come to the games or watch the pressers apparently. I wear them when they make me.”
“Clearly, I missed out.”
“That’s all right, Princess. I’ll make sure to wear them more often for you. You can get a better look at this one later when you fuck me in it,” he whispers only loud enough for me to hear.
“Don’t start. I have to stay focused.” I grin and kiss him one more time.
“All right. Put me to work. What do you need done?”
“Can you make sure all the tech stuff is in order? I checked it last night, but I just want another set of eyes on everything.”
“No problem.”
“Did we get all the RSVPs we needed on your side of things?” I ask, following him back to where the controls are for all the screens and speakers.
“Yep. We’re all good to go. Tobias and the rest will be here. The Rampage guys are bringing a couple of game balls and game-worn jerseys with them for the raffle, and Tobias said Xavier decided to come at the last second. So we’ll even have an extra on hand,” he answers me as he checks everything.
“Oh wow. That’s amazing. You thanked your brother for me right? Is there anything we can do for him?”
“I got him a bottle of his favorite tequila and a couple cigars. He’ll be happy. Anywhere people are gathered to worship him is a place he likes to be.”
“Huh. A family trait.” I smirk, and he flicks me a look.
“Watch your mouth, Princess.”
“Or else?” I raise a brow, giving him a teasing look.
He sets the control down and turns to me, glancing up to see if anyone can see us where we are before he grabs me and drags me against him.
“Are you trying to get fucked right here? Cause if you think I won’t, I will. I don’t care who sees. You’re the one who’d have to explain that one to your employees.”
“East…” I protest, because he’s hard to resist when he’s like this. The man always makes me want to do stupid things. It’s a talent of his.
His hand slides down my back and over my butt as he kisses me softly. When he pulls back his eyes drift over my face and a little smile forms on his lips.
“Don’t tempt me then. I’m trying to be on my best behavior today.”
“You’d better be, for both our sakes.” I dot a quick kiss to his lips. “All right. I’m off to do a final check on food and the tables.”

It doesn’t take longfor the whole place to fill up. There’s a wait at the door and the small lobby area we have is overflowing. A few people are even willing to brave the cold and wait outside or in their cars for a table to open up.
Between the guys bringing in the college fan crowd and Tobias, Xavier, and a few of their friends from the Rampage, the place is packed with people vying for autographs and photos, but luckily most of them are staying for food and beer as well, which means even I’ve had to put my apron on and help serve tonight. Not exactly the plan, but definitely a challenge I can handle. As I head back to the kitchen, I notice East even has his jacket off and his sleeves rolled up helping Tom plate up orders.
“You look so fucking sexy like that,” I grin at him as I lean over the prep table.
“Don’t break my focus, Princess,” he whispers, giving me a meaningful look. “I don’t want Tom to fire me on my first day.”
I grin and dot a kiss to his cheek.
“Everything going okay out there?” he asks.
“It’s going really well so far. I just hope people waiting to be seated don’t get too cranky.”
“I sent Tobias out to talk to people. Do a little PR for us.”
