“How did you get this? I thought I’d be lucky to get some crackers.”

“I had them set aside a plate for you earlier in the night. Only cost me half my soul.”

I roll my eyes and shake my head.

“Or an autograph for her son. Might have just been that.” He smirks at me as I sit down in my office chair, and he sits across from me on the couch.

“Thank you. That was thoughtful and smart. I should have asked, but I was so nervous about that speech.”

“That’s what I’m here for, Spitfire. Now eat.”

I eat like a starved raccoon because I haven’t had a single bite since breakfast, too nervous and busy to do anything but run on caffeine and water. He tells me about the discussions he’s had with some of the donors and all the compliments we’ve already gotten on the new building. Then he muses about how many of the photography books he’s had to sign alongside Joss and the rest of the guys tonight, much to the scandal of some of the board members.

“See. I told you,” I say when I finally finish, taking a long drink of water to rehydrate before I go back out onto the floor. “This is why I can’t deaccession the magazines.”

He laughs, and I stand to toss my trash out. I head for the door before he blocks my way, grabbing my wrists. I give him a puzzled look.

“I haven’t eaten yet.”

“What? You should have said something. I would have saved some. I’m sorry.” I feel guilty now for having devoured it all, but he doesn’t say anything. He just walks us backward around my desk.

“Not what I meant.” A smirk tugs at the corner of his mouth and when my ass bumps the desk, I realize his meaning.

“Tobias.” I feel the desire pooling low even though I know I need to get back out there. “I have to—”

“Have to take the panties off, sit back on this desk, and spread your legs for me like a good girl.”

I glance back at the door, checking to make sure it’s locked before I look back at him. I give him a doubtful look.

He pulls me close then, brushing a kiss over my lips before he goes for my throat, kissing and biting his way down and back up again before he whispers in my ear, “Unless you’d rather get bent over the desk and told what a dirty slut you are. But you don’t leave until you’ve gotten off at least once.”

I melt into him then, letting him pull my panties off while he kisses his way over my skin and pushes me back on the desk.

“What if I want both?” It’s my turn to smirk as he sits in my desk chair, kissing the tops of my thighs as his hands massage my legs.

“Then it’s whatever you want. Because fucking Christ, Scarlett, watching you tonight, listening to you talk… Fuck,” he curses when he finds me wet, and he grabs my thighs and pulls me to the edge of the desk. “It’s so sexy. I’m so proud of you. That I get to stand next to you at events like these and tell people I’m your boyfriend.”

I laugh, amused that this man—who is still fielding a million new deals from his agent alongside the rest of the guys after their big win—refers to himself as my boyfriend. But I love him for it.

“Between this and your channel taking off like it has… I don’t know. Gonna have to make sure I keep you happy. Meet all your needs, so you don’t run off with some other guy.” He kisses the inside of my thigh before he grins up at me.

I run my fingers through his hair, brushing it to the side when it starts to fall in his face.

“You make me the happiest I’ve ever been, so I think you’re good.”

“Am I good?” He leans forward, parting me and running his tongue over my clit in one long perfect stroke, and I close my eyes, biting the inside of my cheek to keep from moaning loudly.

“So fucking good,” I say as my fingers twist in his hair. “Oh my god. Fuck. Tobias.”

He works me over until I’m a pleading mess under his tongue and hands, begging for him to finish me off.

“Like this or you want my cock?” He brushes a soft kiss over my clit, his fingers still working me gently as he looks up at me.

“Your cock. I need it.Now.” I’m already having trouble catching my breath, so I might as well have what I really want.

He grins and pulls me up off the desk.

“Turn around and bend over then.”
