Ronnie jumped down from his perch, and slung one of his long arms over her shoulder.“The headline acts get luxury yurts to get ready in, rather than a pod in the main marquee.Don’t look too excited. They’re glorified hideous prefab things that give sustainability a bad name and probably harbour a few gazillion spiders. Also, they’re pretty tiny, going on the fact that Black Halo got assigned three of them.”

“Why three?”

Ronnie raised his narrow shoulders.“Probably because you can only fit a couple of large big lads in each one.Seriously, Alle, they look like they were built for hobbits, not oversized egos.”

Alle did a three sixty on the spot.“Where are they?”This was the first she’d heard of them, and she’d been all over the site yesterday while trying to flush out Ronnie.

Or maybe they figured no one would bother them there.“Which way?”She made Ronnie set her on the most direct route, and then took her leave.“Be awesome when you go out there.”

“Will do.”

He sounded pleasingly confident.

“Alle, stand at the front and I’ll blow you a kiss,” he called after her.

In return, she gave him a salute.
