“Tricky, sneaky,evildamn fuck.”

“Complaining, love?”

“Didn’t saythat.”

After a good snuggle that included a well-needed conversation between the two of them, Landry felt revived, frisky, and returned to the party and his host duties. Tilly followed not long after, and for the rest of the night, any time he caught sight of his boys’ well-caned asses, he had to smile.

They were his.

Always and forever.

And so was Tilly.

The family he’d never expected to have, in some ways. Certainly never expected to include a woman or a child, but having two boys to keep him on his toes was a lovely development.

No more, though. He was not a foolish man, and knew it was sexy perfection having Bob with them.

As he made the rounds of their guests and talked, watched other people play, got new ideas for them to try out later and realized this was the happiest he’d ever felt in his life.

Thank god I didn’t kill myself in that stupid wreck. I would have missed out on how beautiful life is.

At the time, he’d despaired of ever seeing Cris again—his own damn fault, admittedly—or finding anyone to take his place. The wreck had exposed his cancer, and his friends and neighbors had managed to contact Cris.

If he hadn’t had the wreck, the cancer would have killed him, and he never would have seen Cris again.

Or had a wife and child.

And Bob.

Sometimes, even my bloody stupid ideas turn out brilliant.

Now all that was left was to enjoy their life together, raise their daughter, and be a family.

I am very blessed.

He DM’d a suspension scene on the frame and enjoyed laughing at how Wade and Glen tried their hand at rope bondage, but on the ground, not suspended, before they spit-roasted their boy, Justin.

Doyle had Mevi bent over the side of the hot tub and fucked him senseless as they watched the spit-roast in progress.

I’llnevergrow weary of nights like these.

The sadist smiled, happy, and eager to see what extra trouble he could cook up for his two boys once all their guests went home.

Even now in his life, it was never too late for love to bloom, and Landry would never take what they had for granted. It was precious, rare, and so very, very beautiful.

Chapter Ten

While Cris tidied up the lanai and Landry helped him rehang the swing on its frame, Bob started in the living room, going through with a garbage bag to pick up any stray cups and plates that had been left behind. People were pretty good about picking up after themselves at the private parties, but, sometimes, attentions were distracted by whatever sexiness was taking place.

He didn’t mind the job.

The dining room next, then he dumped the garbage cans in both guest bathrooms and tied the bag off, sitting it in the garage to deal with in the morning.

He quickly wiped down both bathrooms and then headed for the true albatross.

The kitchen.

There was still alotof food left over. Some they’d have to toss because it’d sat out all evening, and some that would still be good. He was working on that job when Cris walked in.
