He grinned. “Exactly.” He nodded. “And you...having you here in this place is also…magical.”

She was caught off guard by the way he gently cupped her face. “You have no idea what it meant to me to have you by my side when Anna fell…that fear of what might have happened, and the way you cared for her…as if she were your own child…”

“I would never let anything happen to Anna, you know that,” she whispered back, trembling under his gaze as if she were completely naked. But it wasn’t her body that was laid bare. It was her emotions.

“I know.” He nodded. “Anna is all I have left, Amelia. You have been such a valuable influence in her life in the little time you have spent with us…”

She loved how he used the termus. He pulled her closer, but he didn’t need to. She would have done it of her own accord, drawn in by the sheer force of his desire, for it mirrored her own. She knew why they were here. She knew, and she wanted it as badly as he did. Whatever repercussions would come later, she would deal with them when the time came. This moment was theirs.

He kissed her exactly in the way she wanted to be kissed. He pulled her even closer, if such a thing was even possible, merging their bodies together. Without thinking, she jumped into his arms, and instinctively, he grabbed her thighs as she wrapped them around his waist. There were no words. None were necessary. Their bodies read each other perfectly. She knew exactly what he wanted. He knew exactly what she wanted.

He stumbled backward, pushing her against the nearest wall. She felt as if an animal had been released inside of her, setting on fire everything it touched. She raked her fingers through hishair as their tongues danced together to the music only they could hear.

“Sebastian…” she murmured his name through the kisses. She loved how it sounded, especially now. It was hers. His name belonged to her in the quiet of this night. She knew that tomorrow, in daylight, they would be some other people, with titles that kept them apart, but tonight, they were nothing besides two bodies set ablaze by each other.

He lifted his gaze, his gaze meeting hers. So close to her like that, he stole her breath.

“Amelia…” he said her name back. “My Amelia…”

How her heart yearned to hear those words, and now, she would have them forever. She wanted to be all his. She gasped when he kissed her again, his hips jerking, pushing against her as her back lined up against the wall. She wrapped her arms around him, offering herself up to him, at the same time demanding more, demanding everything he was willing to give her.

He sucked her tongue, his hand lowering down to his trousers, unbuttoning them. Her gown was pooled around her waist as she was hanging in the air, propped up by the sheer strength of his body. The desire oozing from him was more intense than she could ever have imagined, and all she could do was follow suit.

Her body wanted more. She wanted to feel him inside of her, the steady pulses soothing the sting he had just created. She moaned when his teeth gently tugged at her lower lip, only to have his tongue soothe that sting of the bite. It drove her absolutely mad with desire.

She could feel his fingers between her legs, caressing her sensitive bud. Her entire body clenched and tightened, only to relax once again as molten heat spread throughout her bloodstream. She wanted him to take her, to make her his completely.

“Amelia…” he whispered her name into her neck once again.

“Take me…” she whispered back, having no idea where this bold statement came from, but she knew that she meant it with every fiber of her trembling being. She couldn’t wait a moment longer.

This was not how she imagined it. Then, again, she never imagined that she would want someone like this, with such intense passion that she could barely look at him without wondering what his naked body would taste like, what it would feel like underneath her fingers and tongue.

Now, he was holding her in his arms, somewhere between heaven and hell, between the ground and the sky, floating on the clouds of her own desire, trembling, waiting for him to slide into her and show her nirvana.

Her body begged him to do it. She whimpered when she felt the tip of his manhood press against the velvet heat of her most intimate flesh. She was greedy. She couldn’t wait. She opened her eyes, forcing him to look at her. She wanted to remember this moment forever, whether or not it happened again.

His locks gathered in her hand as her lips parted, breathing heavily. He moaned, sliding into her, a guttural sound emanating from him, a sound she recognized as pure desire, ecstasy in its most pure and raw form.

“Oh…” she murmured softly, biting her lower lip, feeling his manhood deeper inside of her.

She didn’t care whether this was right or wrong. In this moment, such a thing did not exist. Nothing mattered but the two of them in this pure, intimate moment where they belonged to each other. He slowly rocked inside of her, thrusting, holding onto her legs, trailing invisible lines with his tongue along her swan-like neck.

He brought her to brink easily, all too quickly, for she was raw with need and desire. She had been all this time, only she wasn’t even aware of it. She trembled underneath him, her warmth leaking onto him, allowing him even easier entrance.

“You are so beautiful…” she heard him say. “So wet for me…”

The word made her explode with heat, with pleasure. Bliss washed over her suddenly, unexpectedly, although she knew it was coming. Only she had no idea it would be this animalistic, this potent, this all-consuming.

Moments later, he spent as well, filling her with his need, as she gripped his shoulders, keeping him as close to her as possible. They remained like that for a long time, neither of them willing to move, to let go of the other. She could feel his heavy heartbeat against her own. They seemed to be beating in unison.

She almost fell asleep like that, in his arms, like a little kitten, when she felt him lower her down to the floor gently, bringing her back to the present moment when they would need to face reality.

“Can you stand?” he asked tenderly, partly in jest, partly because he had a point. She was still trembling slightly.

“Yes.” She giggled, feeling her cheeks blushing.

Was this really her? This animal who had almost attacked him, demanding him not to make love to her, but to take her so wildly as if there was no tomorrow? In a way, there wasn’t. Not as they were now.
