And then I was ripping my fangs from his wrist and coming all over his cock and my fingers.

“Hades… ungh… that sensation…” he choked, a moment before he snagged my pendant with a trembling fist, then rakedhis nails down my bare chest and drew deep fucking wounds in the process that had me bucking beneath him, just before he shot his hot cum all over me.

“Ah… shit!” I cried, the whole thing sending me over the edge again, until I was shooting over his abs.

He shuddered, then shocked the shit out of me as he laved his tongue all over the wounds he’d drawn across my chest.

I bucked beneath him, trembling from the overwhelming sensation when I was so highly-stimulated already.

When he pulled back, there was a dark look in his eyes as he licked the remnants off his lips.

I tensed.

His wings unfurled all of a sudden—not what I’d been expecting.

“Do not worry, Lazriel, you will not feel ahigh,as you call it. I protected you.”

“You… how?”

“Just a small spell.”

“Why?”

“I did not want your mind twisted and not within your full control, your mental faculties compromised. Or the experience tarnished.”

Before I could even begin to process him doing that for me, he wrapped his stunning white wings with streaks of gold around me and held me to him, cradling my head against his chest, stroking my hair.

“Thank you,” he murmured.

“Right back at you.”

It was… weird. In an unexpected way… getting this affection from him.

No, not just that… vulnerability. From him, of all people.

I didn’t know what to do with it.

As if the rest hadn’t been enough of a mind-fuck as it was.

So, I just forced myself to relax and be in the moment.

And I sank into it.

Into what he was offering us both.

Combat and Power Synergywith Professor Drenn Voxe was being taught in The Crucible, which was basically a combat chamber. Although, very unlike the illicit Graverun.

It was a long rectangular space with shimmering walls on all four sides that were fused with every type of magic under the sun, resulting in them basically looking like rainbow walls. They’d been developed to repel or absorb any magic blast—save Celestial magic. That was another thing entirely.

The floor was reinforced and boasted a bold geometric design with a glowing gold quadrant in the center, wherein the professor could activate a holographic screen that would lay out the lesson ahead. When activated in the right way, it could also be used to knock out all magic and supernatural power within the entire space if an emergency occurred or things spiraled out of control.

As I searched for Lazriel and Sylas as I stared at the open double doors across the space while the class started to fill up, Kelsana caught my eye and made her way over to me.

She was wearing a black velvet bodysuit, her long green hair pulled up into a swinging ponytail, and she walked with a bounce in her step.
