I glanced up and down the deck. No one was out here to see us. Seb glanced around too, and when he found no prying eyes, he slipped a hand around my hip and squeezed. I glanced up at the bridge deck, but we were on the aft side; Dom and whoever else was up there would likely be facing forward. “I have two hours off. Let me come to your room.” The rasp in his voice made me shiver.

“Okay,” I said, taking a deep breath. “See you in ten.”

* * *

“I spent some time...”Seb panted. “After you left...trying to convince myself that we weren’t as good as I remembered.”

He had just pulled out of me, and my heart was still racing, my sweat cooling my skin. I swallowed and let the words hang for a few moments and then gasped out, “Yeah?”

Seb’s head wobbled against the bed. “It’s just as good as I remembered. Between us.”

He rolled to sitting and paused at the edge of the bed, his shoulders rising and falling. Adjusting to the slightly tilted floor asThemissailed along on a lean, Seb made his way into my head and closed the door. A few minutes later he came back out and I bounced on the mattress as he collapsed facedown next to me again, blocking my escape from the bed.

With his face scrunched up into the pillow, I barely caught his grunt.

“That was pretty vigorous,” I said.

A finger poked me, the accompanying voice muffled. “Go clean up so we can nap.”

I rolled over onto Seb, my front to his back, his ass fitting neatly into the curve of my pelvis. He flexed his butt cheeks, and I giggled.

When I came back, Seb was looking slightly more rejuvenated. He opened an arm up and I climbed over him to nestle against his side, my cheek pressed against his chest.

“So we’re doing this?”

My heartbeat picked up again, nerves making my stomach flop.

“Doing what?”

Seb shifted under me. “I guess...this isn’t a one-night stand? Well, a two-night stand, if we count Antigua?”

“No, it’s not.”

I tilted my face up to look at Seb, and we both waited.

Finally I broke and propped my head up on my arm so we could talk. “I shouldn’t, because it’s unprofessional and so risky, but I like being in bed with you.”

He gave me a soft smile. “I like it too.”

“Butlet’s keep it between us, yes?”

Seb ran a hand over the scruff on his face, his eyes searching the ceiling of my cabin. “Yeah,” he finally said. “I think that would be best. Except Roy will probably figure it out.”

“Maybe.”

Seb looked at me skeptically.

“I’m more worried about Dom,” I said. “He sleeps in the next room over. Thank goodness there’s a hallway between our cabins, and he spends so much time up at the helm anyway.”

Seb shrugged. “If he catches me in the hallway, I’ll just say I was headed to check the gear in the utility room. I don’t know how I’ll explain to Roy when I’m gone every night, though.”

My eyebrows rose. “Every night? That’s ambitious.”

“At least it’s pretty safe when we are at sea. Roy might not be paying close attention to my schedule, since I’ve got night watches and Dom’s almost always at the helm. Sometimes he even sleeps up there while someone else is on watch.” Seb grinned mischievously. “I might have to gag you when we’re in port, though.”

I smacked his chest. “I’m not that loud.”

“Not yet.” Seb laughed.
