“Come,” I growled. He closed his eyes as I felt his body begin to shudder. “Angel, look at me. I want to see you.”

He opened his eyes and looked down at me as his release hit him. Warm jets of cum landed on my stomach and chest as I continued to jerk him. His ass clenched tightly around me and I couldn’t control myself anymore. My own release hit me and caused my thrusts to falter as my balls drew up and I emptied into him. “Fuck!”

He collapsed on top of me and we both struggled to catch our breaths.

Gabriel propped himself up on his elbows and looked down at me with a dazed expression. “I love you.” He tenderly kissed my lips before laying his head on my chest.

“I love you, too.” It was the first time I said it aloud and he looked back at me, surprised.

With a beaming smile, he kissed me again and then giggled as I wrapped my arms around him and flipped him over onto his back.

“Stay here,” I said and then got up from the bed.

“Are you commanding me like a dog again?” he asked before yawning.

I shook my head and smiled. He always fell asleep after his orgasms. Fuck, I was tired, too, but I wanted to clean us up before the shit dried and caked on us.

“If the shoe fits…” I raised my brows at him and then ducked as a pillow was chucked at me.

After cleaning us off, I lay in bed and pulled Gabriel against my chest. It was so weird feeling him against my bare skin, but it was something I was slowly getting used to. Already half-asleep, he snuggled into me and sighed.

I gazed down at him and moved his bangs from his face. His eyes were closed, but a small smile curved his perfect lips at my touch.

My heart fluttered in my chest as I watched him sleep. He hadn’t left me, and he loved me.

I tried to wrap my head around everything and understand that it was real. This wasn’t a dream. Leaning down, I kissed his forehead and pulled him closer to me. The familiar scent of lavender drifted to my nose and I inhaled him deeply. Laying my head back on my pillow, I shut my eyes.

The prayer that I used to say when I was younger floated through my head as I started falling into sleep’s embrace, causing a beautiful realization.

God had sent me an angel after all.
