Their family trickled down to join them.
“Good to have you back,” Calvon said, pulling Damara into an embrace.
“Thank you. It’s been a while, Calvon,” Damara said, smiling.
Their family surrounded her as if checking to make sure she was unharmed.
Gasps echoed through the air as everyone paused.
“You remember me?” Calvon asked.
“Yes. I remember you all. My memory is back,” Damara admitted.
Cheers went up around them as their family hugged and loved on Damara.
“Is she the only one who was missed?” Gavin asked, scratching his head. He was starting to feel a little unappreciated.
Laughter filled the air, and Damara came back to him and wrapped her arms around him.
“I’ve missed you something fierce,” she admitted.
Her eyes bored into him, and he felt a stirring in his jeans for his woman. He got the memo loud and clear. They had a lot of making up to do.
And he was up for the challenge.
“Come on, you two. Let’s get you cleaned up. With all this news about alpha battles and kidnapping, I’ve been in the kitchen,” Loretta announced.
Gavin’s stomach rumbled, knowing how his mother got when she worried. If Loretta Greene was fretting over something, she went to the kitchen and ended up cooking enough food to feed an army just to make her feel better.
Just perfect. He would need sustenance to help give him strength. In a few hours, he’d be claiming his mate.
