Benny nods. “Whatever Sophie wants. I won’t deny my princess.”

It’s then I realize the water has stopped. Sophie is standing in the doorway in her robe, eyes rimmed with tears, and I freeze.

“Sophie,” I say.

Matthew goes to her immediately. “Hey…”

“How much…did you hear?” I ask, feeling strangely on the spot.

“Enough,” she says.

“Are you…are you all really okay with…” She swallows harshly.

“Yes,” Benny says, coming to her side. I can’t tear my eyes away. “Whatever my princess wants,” he says, his voice strangely light. “Just makes punishing my bad little kitten a little more fun.” Sophie turns six shades of red.

I don’t evenwantto know, so I don’t ask.

“Triple the pleasure, triple the fun,” Matthew jokes, and Sophie bursts out laughing.

I slowly walk up to her, meeting her gaze. “I love you, Sophie. How can I be mad if they love you for the same reasons I do?”

A tear falls from her eye and I reach out without thinking, wiping it away.

“I love you too,” she says, and I lean in to kiss her. It’s quick; after all, I know we need to move. She has to meet the bridesmaids and we have to meet Sam. There’s a wedding to be had today.

When I pull away, Matthew leans in to kiss her and she smiles as he does so. I can’t help but smile too, because the way she lights up with him…how could I ever deny herthat?

Benny grasps her chin, turning her to look at him, and then he kisses her. Hard.

She looks like she’s going to fall, like her knees are ready to give out. I’ve seen Benny kiss girls before, but I’ve never seen him kiss anyone like he’s kissing Sophie right now. My cock jumps in my pants and I clear my throat, knowing I need to get us moving. Stat.

Someone has to be the adult in the room and it certainly isn’t Benny.

“Alright, let the princess get dressed and let’s get moving. Matt, you shower first. Then I’ll go, and Benny can be last.”

We disperse, saying our goodbyes as we make our way to our wedding parties. Once I’m showered, dressed, and on my way down to the lobby, I hear loud voices and immediately I panic.

When I turn the corner, I see Keaton and Sophie arguing, and his face looks horrible. His black eye is obvious and I feel somewhat proud that I’m responsible for it.

I don’t think, I just head over there, Matthew and Benny on my tail.

“What’s that asshole want now?” Benny asks.

“I don’t know, I thought we told him to scram,” Matthew says. “Where’s the security?”

The closer we get, the clearer the argument is.

Keaton is glaring at her. “We’re done. And don’t even think about coming back to work.”

“I won’t,” she retorts.

And with that, Keaton turns around, storming out so angrily he nearly knocks me over. I turn to go after him but Benny stops me. “Let him go, he ain’t worth it.”

I catch Sophie’s gaze. She looks so pretty in her bridesmaid gown. The short, flowy coral dress makes her sun-kissed skin stand out, her dark hair and highlights sharper in contrast. She looks like a beach goddess if I ever saw one.

“No, he isn’t,” I say, feeling like a weight has truly been lifted.

The wedding itself goes off without a hitch. Raegan and Sam hold one another’s hands on the beach, promising to always love one another. And when he slips the ring on her hand, I can’t help but cry. One look at Benny, and I note he is too.
