I had yet to do that. That path could be ventured down once I’d had actual sex. Until then I would hang back and silently wonder what the harness looking contraption hanging from the roof in room number three was.
I stopped and eyed the leather straps through the open doorway. Was someone supposed to go in that? Or was it a two person kind of deal? And if so, how did it work?
“Hey.” If the sound of an unfamiliar voice wasn’t enough to startle me, then the sight of him sure was. He was completely naked.
“Hi,” I smiled and raised my hand to shield myself from the penis bobbing with his steps.
“It’s Emma right?”
Did I know him? “Yeah?”
“Damn girl,” he leaned his shoulder against the wall next to the open door, and rolled his eyes down me. “You look better in person.”
“Thanks?”
I backed up a bit when he leaned in and inhaled. “You smell good too.”
Wish I could say the same for him. He smelled like sweat and for some reason, apples. It wasn’t a good mix.
“So, you’re interested in the sex swing?” He looked in the room and nodded at the leather contraption.
“That thing’s a swing?”
“Yeah. Want me to show you how it works.”
Was it wrong that I kind of did? “No, I have a meeting with Lorna.”
“Ah, well I better let you get to it. I gotta take a shower anyway. Got another scene to do and Vahn tore up my ass.”
That was not at all what I expected him to say. But it wasn’t the strangest thing I’d heard today.
Wait…
“Vahn’s shooting here?”
“Yeah, we’re in room 11.” He waved down the hall, and walked in the other direction. I assumed for the locker room. “You should come check it out after.”
Yeah that wasn’t going to happen. I was going to avoid room 11 at all costs. Except for when I had to walk past it to get to Lorna’s office.
Damnit.
I couldn’t tell from here if the door was closed. It probably was. They were shooting in there, so it wouldn’t make sense to leave the door open, right? Thankfully logic was on my side this time, and the door was indeed closed. Allowing me to slip past and make my way to Lorna’s office unseen.
Lorna’s door however was open, I still felt the need to knock. She was my boss. It would be disrespectful to just walk in her space.
“Emma,” she called from the right side of the room. “Come in.”
Before going in, I took a breath to calm my nerves. No matter how many times I talked to her, I always felt a little intimidated around Lorna. She was a beautiful woman, with blue hair, bright eyes, and all the confidence. Pretty much the exact opposite of me. Men with the same confidence didn’t intimidate me as much. That I blamed on my brother.
Mitch was the son every father wanted. Sports came as naturally to him as breathing, making him that guy in high school that every girl wanted. I spent my entire life watching him strut around the house like he was king of the world, and no one corrected him.
His friends weren’t any better, though Vahn did kind of take the cake in the asshole friend department. So, I was used to being around confident men.
I sat down in the chair closest to Lorna’s desk and silently waited. Mostly because I had no idea how to start a conversation with a woman like her. The female figures in my life were not at all like the male. Let’s just say that most of the girls in foster care were more scared than they were confident. Maybe if I had a mother things would be different?
Although it was only about a minute, it felt like hours had passed before Lorna spoke. “I’m sure you’ve heard about the Calendar we’re doing?”
“Yes.” I’d heard a few people talking about it.
