Duroc approached the front door andknocked.No one answered so he waited a moment then knocked again.Footsteps approached heavy and plodding.When the door opened aweaselly faced guy answered.The guy looked surprised.
“Where’s the girl?”He spitout.
“What girl?”
“I made the appointmentwith a woman.”
“She’sShe’s, oursecretary.”Duroc explained.This guy looked so out of placehere.
“Fine.Come on in.”The guypulled a gun.“Do it slowly or I’ll blow you away.”
Duroc stepped in slowly, but when theguy went to close the door, his fist went to the guy’s chinknocking him out.Slapping ties on him first, then Duroc went tolook around.There was no way that guy was working alone.Walkingquietly, he approached a bedroom where two guys were trash talkinga poor woman they had tied up.
“I go first this timeTim.”
“It don’t work that way.You got to work your way up.”Tim was in the process of undressing,so Duroc snuck up right behind them and smashed their headstogether hard enough to knock them both out.
“Are you alright?’He askedas he pulled the tape off her mouth gently.
“Yes.”Shewhispered.
He continued to untie her as hequestioned her.“Anyone else with them?”
“All I saw was these twoand another guy who seemed to be in charge.”
Once she was free, he tied up the otherguys.“My partner is outside.Do you still want security setup?”
“More than ever.”Shereplied.
Duroc carried one of the assholes outto the truck dropping him in the back.“There were three guyswaiting for us.Get started while I get the other two in thetruck.”
Bindi got out and checked the systemwhile he loaded the other two.Then he returned to the house tocheck with her.
“The system was purposelycut.I ran the line and repaired it.It’s working now.”
“I guess we can go.”Because of the quick take down of the intruders and the easyrepair, they were on their way in no time.
“Want to call Moe?Ihaven’t yet.”Bindi admitted.
“Hey, Moe.We have threemiscreants that were lying in wait at the repair job.”
“Did they goeasy?”
“Surprisingly.Now they arein the back of our truck waiting for pickup.”Durocexplained.
“I’ll have someone callyou.Meantime just leave them lie.”
“Gotcha.”
They headed to their second job, but itwasn’t until their third that they got a call.“Hello?”
“Is this Duroc?”
“It is.”
“This is Vinnie.I’m withthe wardens and I hear you have a package to pick up?”
“I do and I’ll be glad toget rid of it too.”
