When Bindi woke again, it was morning.Wasn’t she supposed to be at work?Moe was going to kill her.Shejumped up and began rummaging for her clothes finding it on thefloor.As she dressed, Duroc came in.
“Why are you up?You needsome rest.”
“We should be at work.What’s going on?”
“I called Moe and sheunderstands.”He explained.
“That’s good but I don’tunderstand.What’s going on?”
“Your change started rightaway.Ariel said your wolf has been waiting to come out.It’s rareto start so quickly.The heat is also building.”
When he said that she noticed how hotit was.Could she really be in heat or was this just the power ofsuggestion?Sweat ran down her back and beaded on her forehead.Need twisted her up inside and need ran all over her.
“Come back tobed.”
“For how long?”
“I don’t know but right nowwe need to take the edge off your heat.”
“How is Moe managing?”Sheasked as Duroc.
“You’re in heat and you’reworried about Moe?”
“What’s shedoing?”
“Moe has extras she calledin.We’ll still be on call at night.Happy?”
It was clear to her that he was nowannoyed.“Yes, thank you.”
“I’ll come back when youdecide you need me.”Duroc said then he went to thekitchen.
She followed him out and hegot a drink and handed her a wine cooler.Those were good.Bindiopened it and took a sip.Her heat was getting worse, and the coldcooler didn’t help a bit.She was shaking with need and Duroc’sscent wasn’t helping.It made her want to jump him.Do it, he’s our mate.

Bindi had made up her mind and he wouldfulfill his part in this activity.Duroc backed up as he tried todecide what to do, but deep down he had to know what she wantedfrom him.Now, she had to have him now and she was on him pullinghim down right there in the living room which was as far as he hadgotten.It was hard to believe but she had managed a partial morphand her claws cut his clothing off him leaving them ripped toshreds.
She then did the same to her clothes ashe watched clearly shocked.Then launched herself on top of him.Bindi was crazy with need and Duroc helped her line them up and hesank inside her.His mate was in a frenzy and she was moving on topof him at a crazy pace.His seed was needed to calm her and easeher pain.
Had he not held back, he would haveorgasmed without her.But he did and they came together.For her itwas more than just relief, the feeling was heaven.This wassomething she would never avoid again.It proved they belongedtogether.They lay cuddled on the floor and Bindi was exhausted andfelt fell into a deep sleep.She felt someone picking her up andthe bed welcomed her.
Bindi woke up starving and hot.Foodneeded to come first, and she got up and headed to the kitchen.Thank the goddess the fridge was full of food.She found leftoverpizza and heated it up then wiped it out.It wasn’t enough.Shechecked the fridge again and this time dug out a steak dinner.Maybe this was intended for her?After heating it, she ate it too.That was enough to make her worry about her other need.
Bindi got a drink and sipped on it asshe searched for Duroc finally finding him outside taking talkingto Tyne.“I’ll let you go, man.Looks like you’ll be busy.”Tyneobserved with a smile.
“Thanks.I’d best go.”Duroc saw her headed his way and turned to walk to her.
