“I do, but so does Bindi.”
Now Rosey looked at her with her eyeswide open.“You really do?”
“Yes, she’s a great lady and she letme stay at her house a few weeks when I was training.”
“What were you trainingfor?”
“Did you know one of the guys herewith us was Tyne?I was training with him and his mate for a job.”Bindi explained.
“But don’t they train people tofight?”
“Yes, and to work with securitysystems.”
Rosey seemed to have run out ofquestions, and she seemed to be thinking things over.Their guestswent home with Duroc’s dad who had room to keep them, and theywould be back in the morning.When her mate came home, she wentwith hithem into their bedroom.Bindi pulled out fresh sheets and acomforter and got the bed ready for them.She’d brought her bagwith her and had plenty of clothes with her including a nightgown.She rarely even wore it anymore since Duroc liked hernaked.
She went to take a shower, but Durocjoined her.“I need you more than ever.”
“Was it bad?”
“Not so much bad as there’s a lotgoing on and itsit’s going to be hard work.I’m not sure who totrust and when they don’t think I’m looking I get dirty looks.Those running things liked the way things were.They care nothingfor the others.Many of those I’m dealing with live like they’rerich.Damon is staying until the wardens he sent for arrive, butwe’re on our own at night.”
“Not completely on our own, Marissaput a protection spell on our room.She’s also sending Harry for along visit.”
“Harry?”Duroc saidconcerned.
“Harry is a sweetheart.”
“If you say so.You’ll be working withher more than I do.I like her, I really do.”
“It’s the toad thing, isn’t it?”Bindiasked.
“I’ll admit it and any honest wolfwill.No one wants to be a toad or a snail.”
“We need the protectionprotection.There are some good people here, but they’ve been beat down.Theywon’t step in to help or even probably to warn us.”
“I believe you.Bring Harry on.”Durocagreed.
“I believe she’ll be here in themorning.”
“Great.”He didn’t look like hebelieved it.
Bindi had the bed ready and went tothe shower.She was tired and planned to cleanupclean up then getsome sleep.Apparently Duroc had other ideas as he joined her underthe water.A shiver ran down her back as he pressed against her,and his hands went to her shoulders.
He whispered in her ear.“I need youso much.”And she melted against him.
Duroc picked her up and leaned heragainst the shower as he entered her.Bindi moaned and her legswrapped around him.Her muscles squeezed him tightly in herchannel.Her mate groaned.It felt good to her too.He moved fasterand she felt her climax coming.Just a little more and she explodedand then felt him do the same.
They finished by washing up and dryingthen they went to sleep worn out.The sleep was deep andrejuvenating and when they woke, they felt much better and ready totake on the job ahead of them.It was a good thing too as that jobwas just beginning and Harry was arriving today.That would shakethings up even more.
It was breakfast time and Lois was nowherenowhere to be found.Bindi thought they needed to eat so shelooked at the supplies which weren’t enough for more than a handfulof meals for everyone.She got started on the best breakfast shecould provide.Biscuits went in the oven and a huge skillet went onthe stovetop.She fixed bacon in the oven since she needed so muchand then she began to fix scrambled eggs in another huge skillet.Finishing up the gravy she’d started in the other skillet, sheadded cheese to the scrambled eggs.Bindi went to the dining room.“I need some help.”
Several ladies followed her into thekitchen.“What do we do?”One asked.
“Eat first then you can help cook andwash dishes.”
That’s what they did, and she fixedher breakfast after they got started.It would take several peopleto fix food for all these pack members.They needed a bigger areato feed people and to eat in shifts.She liked Ariel’s food baridea and hoped to implement it.Harry hadn’t appeared yet, so shesaved a plate of food for her.
Bindi sat down now and ate her food.Wolves had to have good meals to keep their energy up.Duroc camein with some guys and they filled their plates up high but therewas no gravy now.The other ladies didn’t know how to make it andthey cooked bacon, eggs, biscuits, and potatoes instead.It wasgood too, but Ariel’s cook had gotten her hooked on that sausagegravy.
