“Well this bandana’s been used to tie me up in all sorts of places, but never used as a blindfold.”

I heard the screech of tires as my whole body lurched forward into the seatbelt.

“You’ll do that?”

“Hmm,” I considered that. “Only if you will and I get to have my way with you.”

I licked my lips feeling myself get wet just thinking about it.

Without my eyesight, all of my other senses seemed heightened even more so than my already advanced wolf senses. What would it be like to make love to my mate like this?

Yes, please. Sign me up.

“Right now,” he said in a strained voice.

“Is that the surprise? I’m not complaining. I just thought you were taking me somewhere special.”

He was quiet for a moment like he was contemplating it.

“Shit!” he cursed under his breath as he put the car back into drive and kept going. “Soon. Very soon.”

I grinned thinking of all the things I’d want to do to him blindfolded, starting with tracing his tattoos with my tongue.

“Sweetheart, whatever you’re thinking, a million times yes, but it’s turning you on and I’m having trouble thinking straight let alone drive.”

I heard him sniff the air no doubt smelling my arousal.

“Sorry,” I muttered, though we both knew I wasn’t.

Since our mating, Clay’s wolf had calmed significantly. Of course we hadn’t exactly spent much time around other people, but I still knew it was true. I could feel his wolf clearly now and he was always at peace.

The car slowed to a stop and rolled into park.

“Can I take the blindfold off now?”

“Nope. Almost.”

I heard the door open, felt the change in the seat next to me, listened for his door to close and then the crunch of gravel as he ran around to my side.

Once he had my door open, he took my hand and helped me out.

I sniffed the air and listened to everything around me. It was so familiar.

“Where are we?” I demanded starting to panic.

This was some sort of fair. What if Dane and Rendall were here? I didn’t want another argument or worse, a fight over me.

“We shouldn’t be here,” I told him.

Gently he removed the bandana.

I blinked a few times unable to believe what I was seeing.

“Mom? Dad? Maxi?”

I squealed as I ran to hug my friend.

Dad walked over and shook Clay’s hand.
