“Damn, I’m glad you think so.” Ryder let out a gruff laugh. “Because there’s more.”
“More?” I nearly squeaked the word.
“Come on.” He flashed me a slightly-nervous grin, and stepped out of the truck.
I got my door open, but he grabbed my hand and then hauled me out before I could climb out on my own. Our chests collided, our eyes meeting.
Was Ryder… blushing?
I had to be imagining that.
Didn’t I?
Because what could possibly make my burly, sexy werewolf blush?
“Do I get any hints?” I checked.
“Nope.” His arm wrapped around my waist, and we walked toward the exit together.
We stepped inside the frame of the house, carefully walking around the two walls that had been put up already.
I halted, pulling Ryder to a stop beside me when I saw a group of our friends and family sitting in folding metal chairs, in rows. There was an aisle of sorts down the middle. Sab stood at the end of it, beside Dax, and wearing a shit-eating grin.
Del, Lizzy, Ebony, June, and Teagan all stood in a line off to one side of Sab, and their mates stood in a line of their own on the other side.
At the end of the aisle, Vi and Sam stood together, like they were waiting.
“What did you do?” I asked Ryder, openly gaping.
I heard the click of a camera—someone was taking pictures?
Shit.
Holy shit.
This was a wedding, wasn’t it?
My wedding.
Our wedding.
A laugh sputtered out of me.
“We’re already mates, so I figured we should make it official. What do you say, Kelley?” Ryder flashed me a heart-stopping grin. “Want to marry me?”
“Hell yes, I do,” I breathed.
“Perfect.” Vi grabbed my arms and tugged me away from Ryder. “We’ll be ready in a few,” she called out as she towed me off behind the one wall I hadn’t peeked behind yet.
I had a million questions to ask her, but I forgot all of them when I found myself staring at a sleek, white silk dress. It’d look hella-sexy on me, but…
Right beside it, there was a white t-shirt.
I’d sent Sab a screenshot of it, paired with a winking emoji, shortly after she got everything settled with Dax.
