I run and get dressed as quickly as possible. After I brush my teeth and hair, I put my shoes on and find Ivy waiting impatiently.
I give her an impatient look, “Are you ready yet? I’ve been waiting for you!”
She glares at me, “MERCY! I’ve been waiting for YOU!”
Liam chuckles.
I walk over to him and kiss him quickly, “I love you. Have a good day.”
“What about Elle and Isabella?”
“They will meet us there, as well as Max.”
He nods, “Xander is picking me up shortly because he’s going to the hospital and my Escalade is still there.”
“Ok, babe. See you later.”
Ivy quickly hugs him and kisses his cheek, “Bye, Liam!”
We get into the car, and this girl bounces on her damn seat like the energizer bunny.
When we pull up to the bridal shop, she undoes her seatbelt.
“Ivy! You know better. If the car is still moving at all, your seatbelt stays on! And how did you learn that?”
I’m not pleased to find she can get out of her booster seat.
“Sorry,” she huffs.
I go around to the back and get her out.
She puts her little hand in mine, and we walk into the bridal shop together. Isabella, Elle, and of course, Max, are already there.
She runs off and hugs everyone.
The shop owner comes up and hugs me.
“It’s good to see you again. This must be Ivy.”
I smile, “It is.”
“Well let’s try on this pretty dress.”
Ivy runs behind her, ’pretty dress’ is all she needed to hear.
I help Ivy with the dress once she gets her clothes off.
I zip it up in the back, and she starts yelling as she looks in the mirror.
“Oh my. It’s so beautiful! Isn’t it beautiful?”
I smile behind her, “It’s very beautiful.”
Stella says, “Come look in the big mirror!”
We walk out and everybody, even Max ooh’s and ahh’s about my pretty princess.
She spins around gleefully.
