Chapter One
Bastian went to hisoffice and made some phone calls.They knew enough about the Horsemen’s operation now that he felt he could make some plans to take them down.He also knew they would need some help and he knew just who to call.
What he didn’t know however was if they would be onboard with the VIM’s plans or not.Shaking his head, he figured they would find out in a few hours.He had already told his plane to be on standby and after the calls he phoned his pilot and told him to head out.His guests would all be here before midnight.
Sitting back in his chair, Bastian closed his eyes and thought about what they were going to do.He knew Shay had his network out there and that he could tap into it anytime he wanted.If he chose to be involved that would help them find these bastards and stop them.
This event was too big for the VIM to stop on their own.This was the real deal, an apocalypse and just too large for just VIM to handle.
He heard a knock on his door and called for whoever was on the other side to come in.He saw Bane and Cane standing there."What?"Bastian asked the illustrious twins.
“We can’t do this alone,” Bane finally said.
Bastian nodded.“I know.We’ll have some guests later tonight.Tomorrow morning, we’ll have a conference and explain everything we’ve found so far.”
“Who?”Bane narrowed his eyes at him.
“I called Shay and Pappy Masterson along with the Bratva.Both groups have the resources we need to try and stop this from happening.”Bastian growled.“Do I like it?Hell to the fuck no, but we don’t have much choice.Even one life lost to their madness is one life too many.”
Frank joined them almost at the end of the conversation and he agreed with Bastain’s assessment.He looked over at him and said, “You may not think so but you can trust the Bratva.Are they harsh men?Without a doubt, are they fair men?Maybe but I wouldn’t try to cross them.Will they help us?Again, I believe they will and do you know why?”
Bane turned to look at his father.“Why, Dad?”
“Because they live here in this world too.They have wives and families of their own.”Frank shook his head.“I’ve heard nothing but good things about the new Bratva and that’s on one man, Sergi Constantine.He turned the Bratva around and now it's an honorable organization.He wants to leave a legacy behind that he can be proud of, the same as any man, father and grandfather.I’ve been watching him from afar and I like what he stands for.”
Bastian nodded.“I agree.I have been watching him as well, plus they assisted us in taking down Mr.Winters.His men got a taste of what we are up against, so I’m sure he’ll know what’s at stake.”
Bane nodded.“You could be right about that.”
“I understand Shay,” Cane said, “But why did you invite Pappy?”He frowned.
Bastian sat up and looked at the other men in the room.“You may not know this but Pappy is in charge of a network that covers just about every nook and cranny in the nation.He’s got a line up of veterans and MCs that go from coast to coast and just about everywhere in between.James found them a while back and we’ve been watching them.”He shrugged.“If we need to get the word out to many MC’s and Vet networks, they could do it.”
Bane just raised his brow but he didn’t say a word.He was finding it hard not to be the one in charge.But he knew they couldn’t do this alone either.He would see what happened when their guests arrived and they found out what was going on.

Afew hours later,several cars were waiting at the gate to be allowed inside.When James opened the gates, they all drove up to the mansion and then the car doors opened.
Sergi, Felix, Nikoli, and Viktor got out of one vehicle and Sergi’s security team got out of another, while Shay, Pappy and Dewey got out of the third vehicle.
They all walked up the steps of the front door and were met by Bastian, Bane, Frank, Cane and Dante.
Without saying a word, Bastian gave them all a nod then led the group inside.He turned and held out his hand to Sergi.“My apologies Mr.Constantine.I want to thank you and your entourage for coming to this meeting.We have found a situation where we can use any and all help you can afford us.This situation will affect the whole world and it's going to turn this world upside down unless we can stop it.”
He greeted everyone and they all moved to the living room where he motioned to a huge table they had set up earlier that held plenty of food and drink while he introduced the rest of the VIM family.
Sergi acknowledged the large team VIM had presented.Most of them he’d met before.He sat down and looked at Bastian and asked, “The truth is ever since we helped with apprehending Mr.White and his brother, I was wondering when you would call us in.I know what we’re doing here.It has something to do with what happened in New York City.”
“New York?”Pappy asked.
Bastian nodded as he looked over at Pappy.“It all started with a super soldier program.”
Pappy stared at him.“I knew it.”
They all stared at him.
“How did you know?”Bane asked him.
