“You all are.”

“Then do it. I’ll be fine. They’ve been through enough.”

“Are you sure? This is a big decision, so take your time to think about it.”

“I don’t need to. If you say this is what I need to do, then I will. And Sean? Don’t give me a stupid fucking name.”

I laugh. “Come on. Let me have some fun with it.”

“Give me something badass, so when I join the Saviors, I can keep it.”

That makes me pause, and my stomach sinks. “Are you joining?”

“I mean, if his invitation was for real, then yeah. I spent my life hiding because of Grant. I want it to mean something now.”

“Are you sure you didn’t get shot in the head? The Saviors’ training is intense, and Axel is an asshole.”

“No, dickhead, I didn’t get shot in the head. I want to do this. When does the move need to happen?”

“As soon as possible. Let us come up with a plan, and I’ll call you back.”

“Okay.”

Gavin disconnects the call, and I shove my phone back in my pocket, thinking about what Gavin said. I need to make sure he truly understands what it means to be a part of the Saviors. I wasn’t lying when I said that the training is intense. When I joined, IhatedAxel and Cole for the first two weeks until I understood why they pushed me so hard. They make sure that you’re ready for every scenario imaginable so you come home alive every day. We go after the worst of the worst, and Gavin needs to understand that.

The back door opens, and Chelsea steps out onto the patio. She comes straight to me and curls up in my lap. I wrap my arms around her waist, pull her closer, and bury my nose in her hair, thankful that the love of my life is here.

“Hey, Gorgeous.”

“Hey,” she says softly. “Did everything go okay with Ghost?”

I pull back to look into her beautiful green eyes. “Yeah, and I talked to Gavin. We’re going to need everything new for him, and then we need a plan.”

“I can do that.” She wraps her arms around my neck. “Anything specific that you need?”

“He’s twenty-three, six-three, and he wants his name to be Alfred.”

Chelsea snorts a laugh. “I’ll make sure not to give him that name. Do you need me to make the death certificate for Gavin Augustus too?”

“Yeah, we need to cover it all, including everything to make him disappear.”

Chelsea starts chewing on her bottom lip, and I know she has something on her mind. She finally looks me in the eye. “You should have told me that you didn’t trust Amber, Baxter, and Roland. We said no more secrets, Sean.”

“We just didn’t want to upset you until we found something out. Someone close to one of us is feeding information to Charlie. It’s not just your people, Gorgeous.”

“I get the position you guys are in, but I won’t believe it until I have solid proof.”

“I can respect that.” I lay my lips against hers and kiss her slowly. She sighs into the kiss, and it still makes me wonder what I did to deserve someone like her. She is way too good for any of us, but there’s no way we’re letting her go. I pull back and kiss the tip of her nose. “We need to come up with a plan to get Gavin out.”

She nods and stands. I get up behind her, grab her hand, and lead her into the house. Axel and the rest of the guys are sitting in the living room, so I pull her to sit between me and Cole on the couch. He wraps an arm around her shoulders, and she snuggles into his side with her fingers still locked firmly around mine.

“How did the conversation go?” Axel asks from the floor in front of the coffee table where Nolan is typing like a maniac on his laptop.

“Gavin agreed to our terms. We just need a way to get him out.”

“I think I figured out a way,” Nolan says. “But it’s not going to be easy with all the nurses in the ICU. From what I can see, though, the night shift is less staffed.”

“You hacked the hospital?” I ask with a laugh.
