Only This Once

The last time Julia Caldwell saw her best friend’s younger brother was the night of the college party. She’d never seen the perpetually happy guy so upset and something shifted inside her when she held him. Unfortunately, he disappeared afterward, and she never knew the full story of what happened that night.
Now he’s back, and he’s all grown up, but there’s still something hurting in his eyes. Jesse “Jinx” Holden might have always been clumsy and shy, but he’d never been so sad before, and Julia doesn’t like it. When he finally confides in her, she wants nothing more than to help him heal.
Jinx hasn’t been able to trust anyone with his body since that night, but he trusts Julia. She offers him a one-time lesson, as long as he understands she keeps things casual. Julia has been burned before, and her past still haunts her.
When the spark between them grows, neither wants to stick to one time. Besides, she has plenty more she can teach him, and he’s an avid learner. Soon each lesson is one they want to repeat, over and over again.
