Hat Trick

They’re best friends. Teammates. They’re each other’s person.

And I’m, well… me. Dominic Foster and Emerson Baker are Palm University’s star hockey players. They’re in the prime of their life, and I’m in mine. I’m creating a life for myself, one that I’m proud of. And yet, I see it everywhere I look. Love. I see it in my parents, and in my brother and his new husband. A kind of love so loud I find myself wanting it with everything in me, and I refuse to settle for less. Which is why they’re my new addiction. Both of them. Together. What started as a casual fling is quickly starting to feel like it could be more. But is it what I need? Is what they have to offer me, what I deserve? Will I even get a chance to decide before one of them blows the whistle on this entire thing?

Liliana Campos is… everything. She’s a tornado of chaos and sass, with a fire burning so bright inside of her she could do anything, have anyone she sets her sights on. She snuck up on both of us when we weren’t looking. She wasn’t part of the plan. And yet, she feels like she was always meant to be here. She has the power to bring both of us to our knees. It’s always been the two of us, but now, we have to decide if what the three of us are building together is something we should run from or hold on to. Because if one of us is done, all three of us are done. That’s the rule.
